Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer

Our Project Management division has exciting new opportunities for Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers (Electriacl/Mechanical) to join our team.

The successful applicants will be responsible for supervising and controlling the technical aspects of the project.

Roles and Responsibilities 

      • Establish regular reports on technical, systems and productivity performances for the Project Manager/ Site Manager

      • Engage in inspection and verification activities required by the Inspection and Test plans

      • Ensure completion of Quality Control Checklists

      • Participate in team meetings

      • Assist in managing communication between subcontractors and project team

      • Prepare Project progress reporting – e.g. monthly reports, identify variations and take corrective action if required

      • Create work packs e.g. relevant project plans, project procedures, project instructions etc as directed by the Project Manager

      • Coordinate and control engineering and technical activities on the project as directed by the Project Manager

      • Order materials in accordance with scope and programme requirements

      • Prepare construction programme, monitor progress, manning levels and cash flows

      • Ensure all day worksheets are filled out and signed by the client

      • Ensure all variations are documented and agreed before commencement

      • Provide engineering, technical and contract support to construction staff

      • Issue and maintain sufficiently detailed work packs to site supervisors

      • Contribute to the successful and on-time delivery of projects within budget and quality standards

    Skills & Experience 

        • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical/Thermal & Refrigreration Engineering

        • Minimum 3 years experience on Electrical/Mechanical/Thermal & Refrigreration construction projects

        • Working knowledge of electronic factory construction site

        • Good working knowledge of OSH Act and Regulations

        • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and employees on site

        • Friendly and confident personality

        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

        • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and work with multiple stakeholders

        • Attention to detail coupled with resilience, confidence, versatility, flexibility, and empathy

        • Professional demeanour

        • English is required
